ISC Canada East Qualifier this weekend in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, ON - June 14, 2012 - With a perfect weather forecast, its going to be a magnificent weekend for fastball fans in southern Ontario as the 14-team ISC Canada East qualifier kicks off Friday evening with three games.
Toronto Gators and Ohsweken Redmen hook up at 6:30 pm on D2 while Scarborough Force and Waterdown Hammer start at 7 pm on D1 to be followed by the Niagara Snappers and Kitchener Outlaws at 9 pm. Action resumes at 9 am on Saturday with games continuing all day. See the complete schedule below.
The winner of the tournament will receive a paid berth to the 2012 ISC World Tournament in Midland plus travel money. Additional berths will be awarded to the teams placing second through fourth.
Fans can tune in to
www.ballparkradio.com (or the Tune In Radio app on their smartphones) for the winners bracket semi-finals at 7 pm and 9 pm on Saturday night. Games start again on Sunday at 9 am.. The winners bracket final will be featured on Ballpark Radio at 10 am, along with the losers bracket final at approximately 3 pm and the championship game around 5 pm. Start times will be dependent on the finishing times of the previous games.
It's going to be an extremely busy weekend in the Falls with the wire walker act Friday night, so all teams and fans should get a very early start on their travels to Niagara. From the QEW, exit at Thorold Stone Road and go east. Turn left on Sinnicks (just past the McDonalds) and the park is down Sinnicks on your right. There is ample parking.
If the QEW is too backed up, travellers can exit at Hwy 406 just outside St. Catharines and take the 406 to the Hwy 58 East exit. Go through the Thorold Tunnel under the Welland Canal and stay east as Hwy 58 turns into Thorold Stone Road. Keep on Thorold Stone and then turn left on Sinnicks.
