NORTH STARS BACK IN THE SADDLE
The Sudbury North Stars got back in the winning way following their only loss to the Seminoles . In this case they took on the last place Dog House and dumped them 12-5 . Brad Matheson(4-0-0) went all the way in collecting his 4th victory of the young campaign . Matheson gave up 3 hits ,5 runs (4 earned) , issued 2 base on balls and struck out 5 batters . Ed Brennan (0-2-0) started and gave way to Al Guenette in the 5th frame .Both combined to give up 10 on 12 runs ( 5 unearned) , issue 3 base on balls and fan four of their opponents .Curtis Hambley led the North Stars hitting 2 for 3 (double)while Al Guenette went 2 for 3 in a losing cause .The nightcap was cancelled because of rain and lightning .
Play resumes on Thursday night in Garson at the Lorne Brady Memorial Park . In the opener at 7 PM ,the up and coming Seminoles take on the Dog House while in the nightcap under the lights , the struggling Hounds will face the league leading North Stars (they’ve only suffered one defeat ).

Will be held in Greater Sudbury at the Terry Fox Sports Complex on August the 18th and 19th
I’m the chairperson but you must register with the registrar of the OASA which is Mary Myers at 1-905-727-5139 .It must done within next two days or its to late .I think there 10 teams registered .From there she will explain to you the procedure ..
