I could really use your help with this program that I have just kicked of with the 2006 Deutsche Bank Championship.
It's called - Birdies for Charity - it a very simple program. It is very similar to pledging to support someone to run a marathon, with the addition of 2 awesome grand prizes.
1) 2 Season Tickets for the 2007 Boston Red Sox Season
2) VIP Treatment for 2 (all expenses paid) to the 2007 Tiger Jam Celebration in Las Vegas with Tiger Woods.
Our goal is to get people to pledge money to one of the 15 charities that we support (see the link below), the pledges are based on the number of birdies that are scored at the Championship. The minimum pledge is $0.01 per birdie or someone can make a straight donation of $50, $500 or $5000 - whatever you choose.
For example, 1497 birdies scored at a pledge of $0.01 = $14.97 to the Charity of the participants choice.
So for a small pledge there is an opportunity to win some really cool prizes and do some great things for charity. All the proceeds go directly to the charity of choice, the Championship is really just the "Vehicle" for the program.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could send this to anyone who has a love for golf, the Red Sox or Tiger Woods and see if we can get them involved - feel free to use description that I put together above to send to your contacts.
