Hill United win doubleheader against New Zealand
There were over 800 spectators in attendance to watch the New Zealand Black Sox play the Hill United Chiefs on their home field in Ohsweken, Ontario. They were treated to a great show and 2 excellent ball games.
Prior to the start of the game, the Six Nations dancers took the field to perform a version of their war dance, the "Smoke dance", which is a high energy, fast paced spectacle that the crowd really enjoyed. That was followed by the New Zealand Black Sox performing their war dance, the famous Haka, much to the delight of everyone in attendance. It proved to set the tone for the games that followed.
