Game 1: Lost to Industriales 4-1. A two out three run HR in the top of the 7^th was the difference. WP – Jeff Farion. LP – Jonas Mach. Mach gave up 6 hits and struck out 10 in a losing effort.

Game 2: Lost to New Zealand Black Sox 5-0. WP – Jeremy Manley. 

Game 3: Defeated Lo Tengo 12-1. WP – Jonas Mach. LP – Jerlin Rutt. Mach gave up 3 hits and struck out 12.

 

We missed out on the gold bracket by 1 run. Industriales gave up 9 runs and we gave up 10. Had we both given up 10, we would have won the tie-breaker as we scored 14 runs and Industriales only scored 5.

 

Semi-finals: Defeated # 33 ranked Lanceros 3-1. WP – Jonas Mach. LP – Ucero. Mach gave up 5 hits and struck out 11. Josh Horton hit a 2 run triple early to provide the difference.

Finals: Defeated Padres 3-1. WP – Jonas Mach. LP – Rick Haldane.  In the top of the 6^th, Rick Haldane hit a solo HR  to give the Padres a 1-0 lead. Swash came right back in the bottom of the 6^th with a 2 out 3 run HR by Lou Kass to provide the margin of victory.

 

We’re off for the next two weekends before heading to Cambridge, MA for the Ray Malcone Invitational.
