Subject: Men’s International Fast Pitch Invitational Tournament
The International Softball Federation in conjunction with the Amateur Softball Association of America/USA Softball and Alex Linares is proud to announce the development of an International Men’s Fast Pitch Invitational Tournament to be held in Florida on January 17-20, 2013. This tournament will bring together the best Men’s Fast Pitch Teams from the Americas to kick off the 2013 softball season. The USA Men’s National Team is schedule to play in this event as they prepare to compete in the 2013 ISF Men’s World Championships that will be played in New Zealand in March 2013.
Alex has a long history of conducting quality Men’s Fast Pitch events in Florida and has reached out to ISF and ASA/USA Softball to take his tournaments to the next level. Also in conjunction with this tournament ISF is using this event to evaluate umpires for future ISF World Championships and Invitational Tournaments. ISF Umpire in Chief, Bob Stanton, will attend this event and provide evaluations to the umpires calling the games. Federations wishing to nominate umpires to work this prestigious tournament should contact Mr. Stanton with the name and contact information for the umpires. Umpires will be paid $50.00 per game to offset their housing and meals.
This event will be held in Central Florida with Seminole County and Altamonte Springs providing the softball complexes to host this event. It is anticipated that over 35 teams will compete in this 4 game guarantee tournament. Teams will be drawn into pools of 4 and play 3 round –robin games. Results of the pool play will seed teams into a single elimination brackets for both the championship and consolation brackets, guaranteeing each team 4 games.

Admission Fees will be affordable and the fields are some of Florida’s best. Come to Florida and play the Best Men’s Fast Pitch Teams from Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Mexico, Virgin Islands, Canada, Europe and the United States, and see players from all over the world at this prestigious tournament.
This is the only Men’s Fast Pitch Tournament that is being sanctioned by the International Softball Federation in Florida and is the tournament your National Team or Club Teams should participate.
