Great Night of ball last night with two tight games. We expect some great games again tonight and a large crowd for fastball and the live music at Queens Park.
WE do have some road construction currently taking place in the village. If you enter Tavistock from the east and the infamous Punkey Doodles Corners, follow Hope St. into town. You will drive around the first "Road Closed" Sign for about 200 metres and then turn LEFT onto Fuhr St. Follow Fuhr down and it winds to the RIGHT and becomes Roth St. Roth St. winds around again to the RIGHT and becomes Wellington Street. First LEFT off of Wellington is Decew St. This will take you past the back stop at Queens Park. You will turn LEFT on Maria St. and follow that down to the stop sign. The Stone Gate entrance to the arena and the ball park is located there on your left.

Coming in from the north, hwy #7 to hwy #59 at Shakespeare, you will be able to come straight into town to the lights and continue straight through at the lights down Maria St. and to the Queens Park. If you are heading to Optimist Park from this direction, you curve to the RIGHT at the lights and follow hwy #59 out of Tavistock. Optimist Park will be on your RIGHT hand side just before the Fire Hall and Police Station.
It's not too complicated and not a big village so if you do get stuck, ask for directions locally and I'm sure that you will be accommodated!!
