Lacey A's top Boise River Dogs for 52nd Seattle Invitational Championship

In the Championship Game the Lacey A’s defeated the Boise River Dogs
3-0 to win the 52nd Anniversary of the Seattle Invitational. The Lacey
A’s, behind the stellar pitching of their ace Shawn Koster, went
undefeated in the tournament. Shawn struck out 17 River Dog batters in
the Championship Game.
In the Consolation Game, the Cal-State Builders defeated Team Ivory
Headwear/Team Jones (Portland) 4 -1 as Darren Strang threw a 3 hitter
for the Cal-State team.
