Attend Social Media 101 CSAP Workshop in Toronto on September 16, 2012!

TORONTO, ON - Softball Ontario is hosting a Certified Softball Administrator Program (CSAP) Workshop titled “Social Media 101” on Sunday, September 16, 2012!
Social Media 101
The workshop focus is on basic skills and best practices that enable Associations to use social media as a communications strategy.  During this workshop participants will learn how to use social media skills to achieve objectives such as marketing the Association, event promotion, volunteer and new member recruitment and fundraising.              

At the end of this workshop you will be able to:
  • Define social media and its different types
  • Determine target audience and social media goals
  • Understand how to select a social media channel
  • Understand how to create a Facebook page and Twitter account
  • Engage visitors on social media
Details of the CSAP “Social Media 101” Workshop are as follows:

Location:    3 Concorde Gate, Toronto, ON (Barbara Montemurro Room) 
Cost:           Free!
Metered parking is available across the street from the Sport Alliance Building.

Space is very limited for the clinic, with a maximum of 20 participants able to attend. Each participant will receive a free CSAP Binder, worth $25.00, as well as a limited edition SAFE STAR 2GB USB Drive pre-loaded with valuable materials. The CSAP Binder is designed to be a resource for participants, with room to add additional information and workbooks with each Workshop you attend.
