ASA has officially announced the Major Nationals will be in South Bend July 25-28, 2013 which keeps them the same dates as they had this year in Ashland.
This of course means the Ed McCormick tournament in Erie will be the following weekend Aug 2-4, 2013. That is the final weekend of play before the ISC championship in Quad Cities. I am confident we will keep the same level of competition that has made the McCormick Invite one of the best tournaments in North America since we started it a few years ago.

It's official, the Ed McCormick Invitational tournament in Erie PA will continue in 2013. I know there had been some uncertainty about the tournament's future but, after meeting with Mr. McCormick, I can confirm we will be back next year.
Once again, the dates will be dependent on the ASA Major Nationals. Rumors are abound that ASA is going to keep the same weekend instead of moving back to their original dates of the first weekend of August. So far, I've been unable to get answers from ASA about their intentions as to which weekend they will be using. So, Erie will be either the last weekend of July or first weekend of August. I'm sorry I cannot be more specific right now.
The McCormick Invite will be dropping back down to 8 teams. As many will recall, we expanded to 10 teams this year to accommodate the Argentine Jr National team. Erie has been fortunate enough to have some of the top teams and best competition before everyone goes to the ISC championship. It's expected that 2013 will feature much of the same and be one of the best invite tournaments in North America. The roster of the 8 teams for 2013 will be announced as the off-season progresses.
