Last night the Lake Simcoe Lightning of the Oshawa City and District Fastball League forced the game 5 in the best of 5 series for the OCDFL  playoff crown. The Lightning beat Aurora Shoeless Joe's 10 -  1 to set up tonight's game.The OCDFL Final series scores have been very tight with Aurora winning 2 - 1 and 5 - 2 as the Lightning won game # 1   3 - 2.

 

Last night Ryan Swift threw his second two hitter of the series, collected two hits and had two intentional walks. John Zeiger blasted a three run home run to lead the Lightning offence.

 

Game 5 could feature the pitching of Koert or Malalley for Aurora and Putnam or Swift for the Lightning ???

 

Game 5 is tonight in Sharon, Ontario at 8:30.
