Team Canada ready to compete at ISF IX Junior Men's World Championship

(Parana, Argentina) The Canadian Junior Men's National Team is ready to compete at the ISF IX Junior Men's World Championship from November 1-10 in Parana, Argentina. Team Canada will play its first game against the host team from Argentina on Friday, November 2 (7:30pm EDT) and will be looking to earn its eighth consecutive medal at the tournament.

At the previous ISF Junior Men's World Championship held in Whitehorse, Yukon in 2008, Team Canada defeated Japan 4-3 to advance to the Gold medal game, and later suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 loss in eight innings against Australia to earn the Silver medal. Australia has won the Gold medal at the last four ISF Junior Men`s World Championships.
