Argentina and Japan still perfect in pool B

Argentina beat Croatia tonight in three innings by 15-0, and tomorrow wil have a decisive match for the Pool B, facing Japan in the fourth day of competiotions in this World Championship.

Japanese team, with a solid effort, won his game against Mexico on the field two. The result was 11-2, in a game that started even, each one with their style, in front of a great number of people.

After a few innings, Japan build a great victory with their characteristic style of short game and speed in the basepath.

Meanwhile, in Nafaldo Cargnel Stadium, Argentine pitchers Martín González and Pablo Migliavacca combined their efforts to take the first no hit no run of the tournament. Argentine offense was lethal, scoring in every inning, including a big homer by Daniel Aranaz in the first inning.

Croatian starter Denis Kostic allowed 5 hits and 3 BB, receiving the relief of Ivan Skel (3 H, 3 BB) and Jerber (1 BB and 1 HBP). Martín González was the winer, pitching 2 innings, with no hits, 3 K and no base on balls. Migliavacca had 2 k in his only inning of work.

Argentina continues strong in the tournament, and tomorrow will face their fourth game against Japan.

In other games of this afternoon, New Zealand 11 – India 0; and Australia 20 – Singapur 2.
