#Parana2012 - Team Argentina and Team Japan will play for the final

After the first day of play offs in the IX Men´s Junior ISF World Championship the schedule for tomorrow is ready to continue the tournament. Team Argentina and Team Japan will play for a spot in the final game when they meet each other tomorrow at 6PM. On the other hand and in the loser´s bracket there will be another edition of one of the best world rivalries, since at 12.30 Team Australia and Team New Zealand will meet again, and right after Team Canada will face Team USA.

The last two games of the day faced the first and second of each pool. In the first game Team Japan beat the Aussie Colts 7-3, supported on a great performance by the Japanese starting pitcher Kento Okazaki, who went all seven innings, allowing  just three hits and three runs, striking out 11 Aussie batters. Also with the bat on his hands he had a perfect night, hitting  3 for 3, with 3RBI and 3 runs scored.

The losing pitcher was Marshall Kronk, who worked for 2.2 innings, allowing 6 hits, 6 runs, 2BB and 5K.

In the last game of the evening, and with an  over 6,200 crowd, Team Argentina defeated Team USA 8-5, and by doing so they will be looking  for a spot in the final game of a World Championship for the first time ever.

Team Argentina got themselves a huge win tonight, coming back twice in the game to finally win it. The winning pitcher was Pablo Migliavacca who came into the game with a 3-2 partial score, and in  1.2 innings he allowed 4 hits and  2 runs but his team backed him up and turn the score into their favour. The losing pitcher for the white red and blue was Jerlin Rutt, who pitched the whole game and allowed 8 runs on 11 hits.
