Below is a note from Anne Boehm. Anne is a big part of the success of the Legends of Fastball tournament held in Kitchener every June. Anne's charity, Children's Wish Foundation raises money to assist children with serious health problems. Here is one of the fundraisers that Anne is inviting all fastpitch fans in the KW area to attend.Â

Is it time to get out of the house and let someone else make supper for you (and do the dishes too) ??   Boston Pizza at 721 Ottawa Street South in Kitchener is holding a "FUNdraiser" in support of the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. Come out for supper on:
Wednesday November 21st any time from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
and 10% of all food sales will be donated to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.  We will have some "special" servers that evening and a great time will be had by all. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Long time and well known fastpitch fan Earl Stroh has been nominated and named to the Flamboro Speedway Hall of Fame. Earl led all nominees in voter preferance on the recent poll. Thanks to everyone who supported Earl.Â
His induction will take place in late January.Â

The American Athletic Union (AAU's) is filling up fast...There are several Ontario Fastpitch teams heading to Orlando in late January...including the defending champs, Hill United of 6 Nations, Elmira Erb Electric Expos, and the Owen Sound Selects. a couple of teams from the Niagara and Golden Horseshoe leagues. It is a great tournament...
Earl's induction into the Flamboro Speedway Hall of Fame takes place the same week...

ISC Canada East - year end dinner
Blair Setford, Joe Todd and Kyle Smith hosted the annual ISC autumn dinner at Kelsey's in Guelph a couple of weeks ago...busy night and lots of fastball talk...and plans underway for next seasons tournaments....
