ISC Rules Changes for 2013
December 10, 2012 - The International Softball Congress reports the following rules changes for the 2013 season were approved at the annual Board of Directors meeting in Midland.
PRAWN Restrictions: All players who make All World at any position other than Pitcher will be listed as such and will not be counted as a pitcher in a team's PRAWN count.
Entry Fees: All entry fees for ISC championship tournaments are to be paid by July 10. Payment must be received by the deadline or a team may not be included in the World Tournament schedule.
ISC Region Definitions: US West: Eliminate the exception that players from British Columbia may play on a Washington or Oregon team and be considered in region and vice-versa. Canada West: Eliminate the exception that players from British Columbia may play on a Washington or Oregon team and be considered in region and vice-versa. Eliminate the exception that players from Manitoba may play for teams in North Dakota and Moorhead, MN only and be considered in region and vice versa. US Central: Eliminate the exception that players from Manitoba may play for teams in North Dakota and Moorhead, MN only and be considered in region and vice versa.
