WEBER, Duane It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Duane Weber at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, with family by his side on Sunday, January 6, 2013, due to complications from pneumonia. Duane resided in New Dundee and was born 48 years ago in Calgary, Alberta, April 10, 1964. Beloved husband of Laurie (Bierman) Weber, together they shared 21 years of marriage. Loving father of Craig and Karina, both at home. Dear son of Orlan and Janet Weber of Edmonton. AB. Sadly missed by his brothers, nieces and nephews; Clark and his wife Annie and their children, Maëlle, Loic, Vanier; Tim and his wife Leah and their children, Parker and Wyatt all of Fernie, BC. Son-in-law of Judy Bierman of New Dundee, Bruce Bierman (Cheryl Henhawk) of Ayr, brother-in-law of Debbie Magnus and Chris Martin of Waterloo, Christa and Chris Strome of Cambridge, Jeff and Tanneke Bierman of Timmins. Remembered by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. Duane was a member of    St. James Lutheran Church, New Dundee and a former member of the New Dundee Volunteer Fire Department. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Duane's life will take place on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at   St. James Lutheran Church, New Dundee with Pastor Bonnie Schelter-Brown officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at a later time in Union Cemetery, New Dundee. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or St. James Lutheran Church Accessibility Fund.
