 It is our understanding that the game on Diamond 2 between Canada and Mexico will NOT be shown live on streaming today. It will be taped and will be available sometime later for viewing. IF this changes we will try to do an update on this and we will be standing by with Kyle Smith of BallParkRadio fame @PlayByPlay21 on Twitter to cover the game. VOD games on Diamond II are recorded, edited, encoded and then uploaded so it takes a while. We're going to abandon doing that from the Park as it is a very slow connection and will have to do it overnight!  Bare with us as we reconfigure the workflow.

STREAMING ANNOUNCEMENT (from yesterday, Day 2):

Following Kyle Smith @PlayByPlay21 on Twitter for first hour or so until we got home and then tried to sign onto the video stream to take advantage of the 3 free days offered to me for all the screw ups on the video on Day 1 and Day 2. So much for that, had to pay again, $5 for 5 days. Not much but another surprise we did not need.
Video quality on D2 is just terrible and there is no play by play nor no announcer that I can hear clearly. Some guy mumbling a mile away, must be too far from the video mic to pick up any announcements.
The only good news is that Canada is leading 2-0 in 7th.
Make that 5-0.
I will say that the score keepers seem to be doing a great job on the iScore.
6-0 final Canada over Mexico. I hope I was the only one to waste $5.00 to watch a horrible video image with no play by play or even an audible announcer. I still stand by my earlier recommendation that the video stream from Diamond 1 is worth the $10 a day they are charging.
7:30pm - after the Canada vs Mexico game:
I was offered a three day free pass on D1 but in spite of that I cannot get logged in tonight and be damed if I will pay yet another $10.00
10:25pm FINALLY heard back from the streaming people and given a code to give me access at new rate to make up for the three days now of total frustraton - now, one hour later 11:37pm, still cannot get logged on with their code.Â
 11:45pm and just talked to the streaming people again, they confirmed the code I am to use but it still does not work. I have talked to a few others who have had the same problem and they have just given up but asked if I knew who could fix these problems. So far I have had very little luck.
 1:30am Sunday am - one last try and it did not work. Will give them credit for trying to fix the problem but an F for failing to fix it, but nice they tried. I have had enough. Good night all.
