The BIG GAME OF THE DAY FOR US is the Canada vs Japan game at 11:00pm Monday night EST we will be standing by with Kyle Smith of BallParkRadio fame @PlayByPlay21 on Twitter to cover the game. Last night there was so much action with the #BigGame between @SoftballCanada and @NZsoftball that both Kyle and I ran out of space on our Twitter accounts and we had to stop tweeting for an hour. Tonight we will try and cut back on the trivia going on with each batter and will concentrate on the highlights, as they happen.

New Zealand vs Argentina will be a must see game as well but I really doubt we will be up again all night to watch that one at 1:30am.

Based on what happened yesterday, it was around 5pm EST when they added the days links to their web page.

We still recommend paying for each day of the streaming. The video is good even though most of the time the announcers are barely audible. Surely by now, Day 5 Auckland will get its act together and situate the mic so that the announcements from the PA announcer are clearly sent to the streaming audience. So far, most games the announcer sounds as if he is an echo chamber - the old bottom of the well sound effect.

 6:20PM EST and watching Mexico and Columbia playing on Diamond 1 and hardly a soul in the park!

It looks warm and sunny in spite of earlier reports from the blue that it was raining.

Over on Diamond 1 Australia just added another run in T7 to go up 3-0 on Venezuela; make that 4-0 with one on base and no runners out yet.

Good video quality on Diamond 1 and the sound is a little louder than yeserday and the PA annuncer is calling the balls and strikes so that's a good sign. Still a major echo effect.

7:25pm EST and Columbia leads Mexico 5-0 in B5. Looks warm and sunny and can now see a few people in the stands. Maybe everyone was over on the other diamond watching Australia play Venezuela.

 They are playing Latino music between innings - NICE!

 8:30pm and USA now playing Indonesia - sounds like a few more people in the stands but cannot see many of them yet.

10:30pm EST and 30 minutes to game time! - Canada vs Japan

 11:00pm EST and the game is underway. They have added some replays to the video stream which is o.k. some times as long as they don't miss anything while doing a replay. The announcer is louder tonight but not really all that clear. Still the echo effect. But easy to watch and can make out most of what he is saying.

Cannot see a lot of people but the Canadian fans there making their share of noise.

 1:26am EST can you spell UPSET! Japan scores 4 runs in the B6 to win it 4-1! Canada's first defeat.

Coming up next will be Argentina vs New Zealand Black Sox. I will stay around for the Haka mabe but then off to bed.
