An Austin legend of mens fast pitch softball, my father Big John Limon Sr. was called to heaven this morning. Dad was a fighter to the end. Twenty years ago he suffered a massive stroke that most would have not survived, and he did. Sixteen years ago, he had a kidney transplant and a whole new outlook on life. Dad was a double amputee and yet still lived more life than most did with two legs. Recently his heart kept getting weaker and weaker, and this morning it just stopped beating. Please pray for his soul and for all of his loved ones. He will be missed by all.Â
