Gary is out of hospital and recovering at home now.

Gary is out of ICU and now in a room upstairs in the hospital and learning how to walk on one leg for about 12 weeks.

 

I just talked to him by phone and he is in good spirits and looking forward to being in the ballpark again this summer.

With all the physio he is getting the best way to reach Gary is via Bret's email, see the address below but this just in, Bret says Gary does have his lap top in the hospital now so can get emails!  All his friends know his email address and its on the ISC list of contacts so not publishing it here, but here is his room phone number if you are a good friend of Gary: 319 398 6210 - use with discretion, please!

Good news!

He is off the respirator and was actually up today asking for a pepsi. Still in ICU but huge progress.

News this morning that our good friend Gary Baughman is in hospital after an accident.


The accident was a week ago when he suffered a badly broken leg. Gary has not come to after the operation and he is still on a ventilator and is in a coma.

Gary is in Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA but is in ICU and cannot receive phone calls

Gary's son Bret is keeping us informed of Gary's conditiion.
