The 2013 Circle Tap Dukes out of Denmark, Wisconsin looks set for another year.  But an improved year, as they did not fair well at the 2012 ASA & ISC tournaments.  With a good group of men returning, they also added some new talent.  Out is Jeremy Manley who went to Pueblo, in comes ace pitcher Rob Schweyer who is ready to lead CT in the circle.  Also pitching this season is a young and talented Aussie Joel Goodall, who will also see time in the field.

 

 

Other newcomers are Illinois based Tom Crouch who is coming off a great 2012 and was on Team USA for the ISF's.  Young sticking Aussie Lewis Weldon looks to add not only his versatility, but his "pop" in his bat.  Argentinian Fernando Petric looks to patrol the outfield and be a great lefty lead off hitter.  

Returning for a 2nd year is young Aussie Ryan Sinclair who be gloved at shortstop and outfielder German Sacks who also was on Team Argentina at the ISF. 

 

 

Behind the dish will be local flavor Bryan Hansen and backing him up is Nick Peters.  Veteran lefty stick Kyle Magnusson will be returning another year.  Other Wisconsinites are outfielders Jim Corbett and Justin Colombo.  Needing no introduction who is returning as a part-timer, Chris DeLarwelle.  Long time Denmark player Bill Miller will be adding not only depth, but leadership.  Returning to CT after taking a couple years off is power swinging Todd Malnory. 

 

 

The trio of managers will be Kevin Schumacher, Dean Kane & Chad Huebner.  Long time sponsors are Darren Derricks and Mark Miller.  "After speaking together with Derricks and Miller, we have improved on paper.  But that doesn't get you wins.  We look improve, compete, win and go very deep at the ASA's and at the 2013 I.S.C. World Tournament that is held in Quad Cities, IA/IL in August," says Kane.
