2013 ISF X Junior Women's World Championship - Schedule

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 3, 2013

GAME SCHEDULE SET FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
The Tenth Anniversary for Junior Women's World Championships set to begin in just 59 days

PLANT CITY, FLORIDA (USA) - Tenth anniversaries are often marked by giving gifts crafted from aluminum or tin, but at this year's tenth ISF Junior Women's World Championship participants will only  have their eyes focused on the gold.

This year's tournament is set to begin July 1st in Brampton, Ontario (CAN) and conclude July 7th with teams from around the world testing their skills in a new open format. ISF President Don Porter  is also excited about this year's tournament. 'This is an exciting time for us; for ten years we have seen the junior event grow and with this open format it will provide one more opportunity for  increased participation and growth.'

Headed to Brampton are 16 teams representing all 5 of ISFs regions (Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania) - Australia, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Japan,  Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, United States, and Venezuela - each one representing some of ISF's most competitive areas.

Competition will heat up quickly as the 66 game schedule (enclosed here) kicks off with what always proves to be an exciting matchup  between the Czech Republic and Puerto Rico.  2011's defending Champions from the United States will face some very tough competition from the always strong, Japanese, Canadian and Australian teams  while several other emerging powers look to be spoilers.

The Organizing Committee has been hard at work to insure both the teams and the competition are the best. 'We are looking forward to what our hosts from Brampton will bring to the event and to this  very competitive Championship.  We are also looking forward to this being a very special celebration and we know the fans and the media will enjoy the all of the fierce competition,' commented  President Porter.
