USA Softball seeks applicants for 2013-2016 Men’s National Team Coaching Pool

 

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. ---   The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America and USA Softball, the National Governing Body for Softball in the United States, announced today it will begin accepting applications from fast pitch coaches for the next four years (2013 – 2016) for the Men’s National Team program.

 

The USA Softball Men’s National Team Selection Committee will select a coaches’ pool plus name a head coach from the new pool. The Head Coach will become a member of the  Men’s National Team Selection Committee which will select each year’s National Team and Assistant Coaches. Pool coaches will be required to participate in international events, player evaluations, selection camps and other specified events as part of the evaluation process.  Coaches will work under the direction of the Head Coach and USA Softball Men’s National Team Director Ronnie Isham.

 

To be considered as a candidate for the pool and the Head Coach position, please forward via email a letter of application and a resume to arrive no later than July 1, 2013 which must include:

 

- National Coaching and/or playing experience

- International Coaching and/or playing experience

- Relevant clinic and/or speaking experience

- Reasons you would like to be a member of the pool
