Register today for the 2013 JWWC Coaching Seminar!

(Ottawa,ON) Reminder notice to coaches to register soon while space is available for the upcoming National Fastpitch Coaches College Course 408: Junior Women's World Championship Coaching & Game Observations being co-hosted by Softball Canada and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) in Brampton, ON from June 29 – July 1, 2013.
Instructors John Tschida (Head Coach at University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, Minnesota), Lori Sippel (Associate Head Coach at the University of Nebraska) and Jay Miller (Former USA Senior Women’s and Junior Women’s National Team Head Coach) will lead and teach coaches during classrooms sessions on a variety of topics that will prepare them to watch and learn from the live game action of exhibition and round robin games at the Junior Women’s World Championship.

1. Analyze techniques, strategies, coaching styles and pre-game practices.
2. Make field observations.
3. Scout teams and develop a game plan.
4. Review and analyze game tapes.
5. Assess team and individual performances,
6. Practice personal game tracking, scoring and charting.

DRAFT SCHEDULE*:Saturday, June 29:

• 8:00 am – 9:00 am: Registration
• 9:00 am – 4:00 pm: Classroom
• 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm: Game Observations (Exhibition Games)

Sunday, June 30:

• 8:00 am – 4:00 pm: Classroom
• 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm: Game Observations (Exhibition Games)

Monday, July 1:

• 9:00 am – 4:00 pm: Game Observations (Round Robin Games)
• 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Classroom

*Note seminar schedule may change depending on final game schedule for World Championship. Final schedule will be emailed to participants.
COST: $275.00 CDN* – for Softball Canada or NFCA members $300.00 CDN* – for non-members **When two or more coaches from the same team or local softball association register, the first coach pays the advertised fee and all additional coaches receive a $50 discount. Coaches must register as a group at the same time with one payment.
