The Softball Australia Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Chet Gray has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.Â

Since commencing with Softball Australian in February 2001, Chet has held the positions of General Manager Technical Operations, Game Development Manager, National Coaching Director and more recently Acting CEO since July 2012.Â

Chet comes from a baseball background, having previously held the positions of National Director of Coaching and Team Development for the Australian Baseball Federation. From 1997-2000, he was appointed Competition Manager, playing an instrumental role at the Sydney Olympic Games.

Chet holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in physical education and mathematics from Cal Poly Pomona College in California and a Degree in Teaching from Point Loma College.

Chet will begin his role as the new Chief Executive Officer immediately.
