2013 TAMPICO DAYS WOOD BAT MEN'S FAST PITCH SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT RESULTS by Tim Hatten

        With four teams entered the Tampico Days Wood Bat Men's Fast pitch
Softball Tournament was held Saturday (June 22) with a round robin play that day.
Teams entered were from Bowen, IL, Jacksonville, IL and Rock Island, IL.,
Rockford, IL. The event used a one day round robin format to crown the
champion of the 2013 tournament.

Tampico, IL. has a rich history in the game of men's fast pitch softball and
over 20 years ago its traditional men's fast pitch softball tournament
ceased to exist.  In 2012, Tampico natives, Anita Elgin and Tim Hatten
brought the game and tournament back to Tampico, Il with the following
results of the games played and won.

Blackhawk Athletic Club (Rockford, IL) 3-0
Ramsey Financial (Bowen, IL): 2-1
QC Subway (Rock Island, IL): 1-2
West Central Budweiser (Jacksonville, IL): 0-3
