ASA Hall of Fame Complex to host GOLD National Qualifier

ASA Hall of Fame Complex to host GOLD National Qualifier

 

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City will host a GOLD national qualifier July 5-7 for the 2013 ASA/USA Girls' GOLD Fast Pitch National Championship the ASA and USA Softball announced today.  Twenty teams are vying for two berths to the GOLD National slated for July 21 – 27 in Clearwater, Fla.

The action kicks off Friday at 12:30 p.m. as four squads face off on the stadium and field four.  Tournament play continues through Sunday with the Championship game concluding the tournament at 11 a.m. and an if-necessary game slated for 1 p.m.  It is a double elimination tournament.

Admission is $7 per-day for adults and $4 for children and senior citizens. All-session tournament passes are $17 for adults but will only be sold the first day of the tournament. Tickets and tournament passes will be sold at the gate of the ASA Hall of Fame Complex.  Information for the tournament can be found at Tournamentasa.com.
