at Lamoreax Park in Scarborough

A home run derby will take place prior to the All Star Game

The Lake Simcoe Lightning, last years playoff champions of the Oshawa City and District Fastball League faced off against the OCDFL All-Stars at L'Amoureux Park this evening. The All-Star's Ted Kosciesza stroked his second hit of the game and drove in the winning run as the Lightning got nipped 3 - 2 in a very well played game. Ted was awarded the MVP for the All - Stars. Andy Skelton, Martin Humphries and Grant Patterson handled the All - Star's pitching. For the Lightning Andrew Putnam, Ryan Swift and Brad Robinson toed the rubber. Robinson had a great evening as he won the Home Run Derby with 9. He also was the MVP for his Lightning team. It was a hot, hot evening at the ball yard. Congrats to the OCDFL Executive as they put on another strong All - Star game.

The Oshawa City And District Fastball League held their annual All Star Game Tuesday July 16th 2013 at L’Amoreaux park in Scarborough.
It was a great night of Fastball in the sweltering heat
ball players showed signs of the extreme heat
Never the less a great game with the OCDFL All Stars defeating the Lake Simcoe Lightning ( last years league champions) of a score of 3-2

and for the Lightning Brad Robinson
Congratulations to all participants for a great night of fastball
The home run derby with participants from all league teams
