Please note: NAFA spectator gate admissions policies

Written by Bob on August 7th, 2013

Des Moines, Urbandale and West Des Moines has rolled out the red carpet for our teams with great motels, great fields, great team parties and friendly hospitality, but there is always that one uncomfortable part about every national tourament.

Walking in the gate that first time and not knowing what you can and can’t bring in and if they just would have told me then…you know what I mean….well here it is but it’s only gonna be effective if the coaches transmit(forward) this info to their players or tell them about it….

Please help us make this World Series the most friendly one ever by sharing smiles, saying hello, being friendly and following the rules. Thanks in advance.

Here are the Spectator Gate Admissions details and the local park rules at each park which are very similar.

Spectator Gate Admission Plan for all three Complexes

  • Please advise patrons the wristband rule is strictly enforced so if they forget it they will have to pay again so keep it on all week. It is only good for one week only. Spectators returning the 2nd week will have to purchase another pass.
  • Players must be wearing LIME GREEN to be admitted. Lime green does not work for spouses, team scorekeepers, managers.
  • Daily admission is $8 with a hand stamp for that day only. The tournament pass is $20…good for one week only. Kids 14 and under are free.
  • Also, a special reminder that teams are responsible for their personal first aid as we do not have equipment. Please advise the other locations.

Local Park Rules for each Park

ALL three Parks share these park rules:

  • No Outside food or drink allowed.
  • Greater Des Moines & Walker Johnson Complexes-No Coolers (team water jugs and cups are provided in dugouts)
  • Raccoon River-No Coolers (Drinking fountains on every dugout. Water Coolers will NOT be provided in dugouts)
