The 2013 ISC World Tournament officially kicked off Saturday at 3pm at the Green Valley Sports Complex in Moline IL
As is our practice, we are not posting results on www.alsfastball.com as ALL the results will be posted on the official ISC website.

We are doing a few updates on Twitter from the Green Valley Sports Complex in Moline this week:

  We are working from the main diamond and have no access to the score boards from the other diamonds so our apologies if we are not able to respond to requests for score updates. Our primary job is to update all game scores and to attach stats files to those result pages.
We will however share any info we have on either or both Twitter and/or on Facebook.

I hope everyone is watching lots of games on the ISC Network where all the scheduled broadcast games are FREE thanks to Thunder Tribe Energy Shot  Watch for us in the outfield of the main diamond, D5, Gary and I are in the little trailer under the giant Six Pack of Pepsi cans.
All the game results are brought to us by the game controllers after each game is complete. There is a score keeper at each diamond and the score sheets and summary sheets are collected after each game and brought to us in the trailer. That is when we are able to officially enter the score on the ISC website.
Gary Baughman, the ISC Statistician enters each and every completed game into the stats program and then he hands me the file to add to the ISC website.

Please note we are NOT in the Tower so we cannot see what is going on on other diamonds and unfortunately we are unable to drop our duties keying in the official results to go and check the scores at another diamond.
Other ISC staff are working in the tower and can see other diamonds and are posting results to facebook on a regular basis, see ISC East on Facebook.

Monday
Thanks to the fan for the heads up on the ISC II schedule. Hank de Wilde to the rescue, he came up with the fix in record time. Kudos to Hank!
Hank is on the job working out of the Tower this week doing the stats for the ISC II games.

Tuesday
A bit cooler today, but sun is shining and nice breeze blowing. Its great to be in Moline!
Drop by the Pepsi trailer (Stats Trailer) its pretty quite out here so nice to see a friend once in awhile

 Wednesday
Another spectacular day in the park in Moline! The weather has been amazing.
Big Thanks to Game Controller Chris Bach today for all his work trying to compare the bracket board with the website and the website with the schedule handed out. All had small differences. Chris gave us a few changes that will be essential to know for the "real" schedule.
Hank de Wilde helped us with the ISC II schedule, much appreciated.

At the end of the day ended up working with Chris Bach for an hour back at the Isle going over and changing a number of ISC II games that were wrongly numbered. They are all ok now. Thanks Chris.
The Isle Hotel is a great place to stay, even better than as I recall it from 2009. Very quiet and clean hotel.
