Well the Falls tournament wrapped up Sunday with an exciting day of fastpitch watched by a great crowd all day. Thanks to all teams who made the trek down to Niagara for the weekend and really supported the tournament all weekend, we the league are really appreciative of the great support from our friends in fastpitch across Ontario and the U.S.. Thanks to the coaches and managers for organizing your teams, the volunteers who give up their weekend for us especially Al Greatrix who keeps things in order all weekend. Big thank you to our beer tent volunteers, the City Staff, Jerry Dracs UIC and all the Blue Crew who did a fantastic job all weekend and of course all the players. As always Al thanks for keeping the fastpitch community continuously informed. I am going to apologize as not all the game sheets have been compiled, here are the highlights.

The Niagara Fury repeat as Niagara Falls League annual tournament champion. The Fury defeat P3 in the final 8-0 behind a great pitching performance by Dan Mitchell. Marcel Bilodeau hit a two run Hr and Tommy Watkinson had a base loaded double, these were the key hits in the game.
Congrats to all the Niagara based teams, the Fury for repeating, P3 (a combo team of Niagara Snappers and CanAm who made A final), Niagara Colt 45’s who lost to Fury in A semis 2-0 in a great game dominated by Scott Wagar of the Fury and Tom Berube of Colt 45s, Jordan Jays who won B and the Dawgs runner up in C and also our fellow GHFL team Hamilton Pirates who won D.
