QF series now complete in Niagara Falls where number 4 seed Hooligans Colts knocked off number 5 seed CanAm 2 games to 1
Colts Tom Berube and CanAm’s Brian Belisle hooked up in a classic pitchers duel, all three games ended 1-0 with the Colts winning two of them
In game three it was nothing across the board until B7 when Berube loops a leadoff double and after an intentional walk, a sacrifice bunt by Adam Breadner, Will Parent cashes Berube with a single to left. The Colts go on to play the Niagara Fury in the semi finals starting tonight game 1 at 8 pm at Ker, game two will go next week and I will update schedule at a later date
The other semi between Niagara Snappers playing Jordan Jays goes tonight and tomorrow night in Jordan 8 pm starts
A reminder the GHFL playoffs start this Friday night at Ker Park 7 pm and runs all weekend with finals at 3 on Sunday, come on down to Ker there will be a beer tent, concessions and free admission all weekend
