Young players encouraged to apply for ISC's Carrol Forbes Foundation Scholarship Award

October 14, 2013 - A reminder to all eligible ISC players that November 15, 2013 is the deadline for application forms for the 2014 Carroll Forbes Foundation Scholarship Award.

To be eligible, applicants may be any male softball players who have participated  in any sanctioned ISC Youth Development tournament or event, have completed their secondary or high school education and are continuing their academic career at a recognized post secondary institution.

The recipient will be chosen based on the applicants' academic plans and career ambitions, their commitment to softball and softball references.

The Foundation was established in 1995 in memory of ISC founder Carrol Forbes (1909-1982) and annually provides a scholarship award. Recent recipients include Danny Innes of Tavistock, ON in 2013 and Zach Lach of Frankenmuth, Michigan in 2012.
