(Tri-County and Breckenridge did not play in the tournament)
Discussion from our recent meeting-
Next year will be our 23rd annual tournament....October 3-4, 2014.
Holding a face to face seeding meeting is preferred.
Starting Friday night's games at 5:30 rather than 6:00.
Earlier game time favored for distance of travel rather than just higher seeds getting best times.
Winner's bracket semi-final games will flip for HOME team (rather than higher seed favored).
Time limits will be continued in the consolation bracket.
Name change of tournament being considered "NW Missouri Boys State Fastpitch Tournament"
Name change of post season awards team being considered "NW Missouri Boys State Fastpitch Team"
Reduction of that post-season recognition number from 15 to 12 occurred this year....future numbers discussed.
Location of the tournament was discussed and tabled until further team numbers are known.
(Chillicothe, Bethany, Albany, Trenton all discussed).
Chillicothe has a beautiful facility and has always done a tremendous job for us....but there is a distance
of travel involved. We are considering our options while maintaining good communications with Chillicothe.
