Softball Canada Releases New CANpitch Program Logo

(Ottawa, ON) Softball Canada’s CANpitch Program has experienced another very successful year. The program has seen an 11% increase in participation numbers in 2013 and is looking to attract even more young athletes to try pitching this off-season. Capitalizing on this grassroots success story, the CANpitch program is pleased to release an updated version of the program’s logo, which will be used on all materials going forward.
"CANpitch has been an extremely successful program for Softball Canada and we are excited to release an updated contemporary version of our logo” said program co-chairs Kaila Holtz and Mark Smith. “Over the last five years, the idea of a standardized pitching program accessible to every interested player in the country has slowly and steadily become a reality. We hope all clinic promoters are able to use this new logo to promote CANpitch, engage young athletes to try pitching, increase league competitiveness and elevate the game as a whole."
