J&B Painting won the 2013 BreederRupp beating Maccabi USA 4-0 in the Championship game. Devon McCullough went the distance for J&B picking up the win.. Jason Gluckman was equally impressive for MUSA but the Maccabi offense couldn't bust through on McCullough. McCullough arrived from Canada later in day on Saturday due to weather but still pitched a game on Saturday and all 3 on Sunday.
J&B started the day as the top seed and knocked off the pesky Balboa Fastpitch squad and then the Long Beach Wolfpack, who beat the hard hitting Pala Braves 2-1 who had Sonny Perkins in the circle.
Maccabi was able to scratch 2 runs off Lumar Goss to beat San Diego Primetime 2-0 behind Gluckman, and then got to the Championship by beating the Colton Dirtbags by the same 2-0 score. Colton came into Sunday as the 7 seed but knocked off Meredith Cervenka and Rude Pac before falling to Maccabi. Russ Snow was terrific as were Colton's Pitchers, Tommy Obregon and Jessie Martinez.
