Lloyd was a long time fastball player in the Dieppe Park Major Men's Fastball League with Tower Foods and other teams, the Ontario Fastball League with the Agincourt Ambassadors, the Malvern Men's Fastball League with the Burrows Hall Bullies and the Malvern Men's Hockey League.

Lloyd also umpired great ball back in the day for many years once his playing days were complete and he was respected by all.

It is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of my dad at 3:11AM on December 22, 2013. He was my mentor and my hero and everything else you can think of. He was stronger then anyone I knew and he battled right to the last breath. He have us strength and passion he taught us to love and to love the people around us. He never opened his heart but we always knew what the most important thing in his life was his wife and his kids. He was the proudest father and grandfather I know of. He will be missed by many but never ever forgotten. R.I.P dad I love you forever and always. XOXOX...

LOGAN, Lloyd Fredrick - Passed away while fighting to the end with his family by his side on December 22, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Heather Logan. Strong and loving father of Deborah, Scott, Lesley and Bradley. Proud grampa of seven. Brother of Larry, Jack, Rick, Jeff, Freddie and late sister Heather. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home (4164 Sheppard Ave. East) on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service to be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Ogden Chapel.
