Softball Player Clinic at the 2014 International Softball Coaches Symposium
 

Softball Players Wanted!

Toronto, ON- Softball Canada and Softball Ontario are pleased offer an opportunty softball players to recieve instruction from top notch Instructors as they demonstrate various topics at the 2014 International Softball Coaches Symposium in a practical Coach session on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Softball Canada and Softball Ontario would like to invite softball players’ female and male from across Ontario to demostrate/practice with:
 

 

Mark Smith- Team Canada Head Coach

 

Cindy Bristow- Softball Excellence

 

Margie Wright- former Team USA Assistant Coach

Eligible age groups for this opportunity include:
U14 – Train2Train Softball Players
U16 – Train2Train Softball Players
U18 – Train2Compete Softball Players
U21- Learn and Train to Win

If pitchers are signing up for these sessions, they are asked to bring their catcher with them.

Location
Sunday, February 23 2014 ISCS Coach/Player Sessions will be held at North Park Secondary School – 10 North Park Drive, Brampton, ON L6S 3M1

Sessions that require Softball Player participation for demonstration/instruction:

8:30 – 9:30 am Skills and Drills to Develop Solid Outfielders- Cindy Bistrow
9:30 – 10:30 am Advanced Pitching- Margie Wright
10:50 – 11:50 am Pitching Mechanics Breakdowns and Fixes- Margie Wright, Cindy Bistrow and Mark Smith
11:50- 1:00 pm Hitting- Mark Smith

Equipment Required

Softball Players are asked to bring the following equipment:

  • Health Card
  • Mouth Guard
  • Running shoes
  • Loose fitting clothing to be active
  • Their glove
  • Batting Helmet
  • Softball Bat
  • Catcher- catcher’s gear
