New Image Wins 2006 NAFA Class AA World Series

For the second time in three years, the NAFA Class AA World Champion
comes from the state of Wisconsin.
New Image of Monfort defeated the Larry Miller Hogs of Salt Lake City,
Utah 9-5 in the championship Monday afternoon.
A-1 Tank of Long Beach, California finished third, with Earl's Club of
Kenosha, Wisconsin finishing fourth.
New Image's Jeremie Holman earned MVP Honors as both a pitcher and hitter.
Larry Miller's Cody Thompson was named Most Valuable Pitcher, Shaun
Jamieson of The Bar of Appleton-Schaaf (Appleton, Wisconsin) was named
Outstanding Offensive Player, Larry Miller's Greg Kevern was named
Outstanding Manager and Earl's Club was awarded the Sportsmanship Award.
A full wrap of the Class AA portion of the NAFA World Series will be
posted Tuesday evening.
