Softball Canada announces 2006 Senior Men's National Team

 

(Ottawa, ON) - Softball Canada is pleased to announce the 2006 Senior Men's National Team roster.  Seventeen (17) of Canada's best male softball players have been selected to represent Canada and compete at the VII Pan American Championships in Hermosillo, Mexico from September 29thto October 9th.

 

The VII Pan Am Championships are a qualifier for the XII ISF World Championships in 2009 in Saskatoon. 

 

The athletes who have been chosen to represent Canada at the VII Pan American Championships are:

"Our coaching staff is very excited about our team" stated Mark Smith, Head Coach of the Senior Men's National Team.  "Arriving at a final roster was a difficult task due to how well the athletes performed throughout the season.  On behalf of our staff I want to thank all pool athletes for their hard work and commitment to our program the past year and we look forward to working with them in future. We have selected an excellent group of athletes, but of equal importance an exceptional group of people.  Now the hard work begins. We can’t wait to come together next month to prepare for the event."
