Game schedule released for the 2014 ISF X Junior Men’s World Championship

 

OKLAHOMA CITY — The International Softball Federation (ISF), softball’s world governing body, recently announced the game schedule for the 10-nation ISF X Junior Men’s World Championship, scheduled to take place July 11-20 in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.  Team USA looks to improve their fifth-place finish at the previous World Championships in Parana, Argentina.

Team USA will open play against Denmark July 11 at 7:30 p.m. PDT (see below link for complete USA game schedule) and will continue pool play through July 18.  Playoffs begin at 1:30 p.m. PDT on July 19 and end with the Gold Medal game at 4 p.m. on July 20.

The 10 teams that will compete are:  Argentina, Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and USA.

 

Prior to the ISF Jr. Men’s World Championship, the team will compete in a series of exhibition games in along the west coast of the United States. The six-day tour will begin in California and continue north to Washington just prior to the team departing for Whitehorse.
