What better way to enjoy major men’s fastball than to be able to watch it in the cozy parks in the many small towns that have nourished the game and developed some of the best players in Canada? Local fans are in for a treat when Canada, New Zealand and the Argentina Men’s National Teams all touch town in southern Ontario this June and fans get a chance to see some of the best players in the world in “grass roots locales†across the province.
Â
The game of fastball still flourishes in rural Ontario and softball associations continue to build on the youth of these small communities. The hard work and dedication of minor associations also means some beautiful facilities rarely get showcased and local players dream about the chance to compete at an international level, if only once in their career. That all changes this Spring !
