May 26, 2014 – Following their nail-biting epic battle in last year’s ISC championship, Hill United Chiefs and New York Gremlins will open the 2014 fastball season as unanimous selections for #1 and #2 in the pre-season rankings.

 

The Chiefs prevailed 1-0 in 10 innings over the Gremlins in an instant classic to close out the 2013 ISC World Tournament in Quad Cities, IA-IL. With the season building to the 2014 ISC World Tournament in Kitchener, the Chiefs and the Gremlins will be the standard by which the rest of the field measures themselves.

 

With significant player movement over the off-season, the top 10 in the pre-season rankings has a decidedly different look than in past seasons.
