Credentials for the World Cup of Softball IX in Irvine, Calif.

Journalists/Photographers who wish to attend the World Cup of Softball IX are asked to submit their name and outlet to Codi Warren (cwarren@softball.org) by no later than June 27 at 5 p.m. CST. - NO EXCEPTIONS

With renovations at OGE Energy Field at ASA Hall of Fame stadium, the 2014 World Cup of Softball will move to Irvine, Calif. and be played at Bill Barber Park in conjunction with the Champions Cup July 7-13.  The World Cup, an ISF sanctioned event, will include a record eight teams including Team USA, Japan, Canada, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Chinese Taipei and Venezuela.  The USA Softball Women’s National Team will look to reclaim the Gold at the World Cup as they prepare for the International Softball Federation (ISF) World Championship in Haarlem, Netherlands in August.  General admission and stadium seating tickets are currently available online at http://www.socal-asa.org/wp2/shop/ or by emailing WorldCupIX@aol.com with any questions.

Women's National Team
