ISC Canada East Qualifier Wrap-Up

June 16, 2014

Mitchell, ON

Twenty-four teams, 47 games, and two champions capped a great weekend of fastball at Keterson Park in Mitchell at the annual ISC Canada East qualifier.

Toronto Gators extended a dominating unbeaten run to win the main event, the 16-team ISC qualifier, topping Elmira Expos 3-0 in the championship game. Toronto allowed only 1 run against in 5 games.

Toronto, Elmira (already qualified), Kitchener Outlaws and Mitchell Mets will all represent Canada East at the ISC World Tournament in Kitchener in August.

Stratford/Sebringville Cubs took the 8-team U21 tournament, also undefeated, edging Owen Sound Selects 2-1 in the final, and earn the opportunity to represent Canada East at the ISC U21 in August if they're available. Special thanks to Armitage Technologies, our U21 sponsor.

ISC Canada East thanks all of the teams & players for their support and commitment to the ISC program, as Ontario continues to be the hotbed for the game of men's fastball.
