Softball Canada Announces 2014 Senior Women’s National Team Roster

(Ottawa, ON) Softball Canada is pleased to announce the list of players who will represent Canada as members of the Senior Women’s National Team this summer. The athletes below will compete at the General Tire World Cup of Softball IX from July 7-13 in Irvine, California and the Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship from July 15-21 in Surrey, BC and the XIV ISF Women’s World Championship, scheduled for August 15-24 in Haarlem, Netherlands.
 
“We are pleased to have the selection process completed so that we can begin to prepare for our competitions” said Senior Women’s National Team Head Coach Mark Smith. “This year's group is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and tomorrow we begin to prepare for the world championship.”

The athletes who have been selected to represent Team Canada this summer are:

 

*Jenny Gilbert (Saskatoon, SK) will join the team following the Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship.
