Findlay, Ohio - The International Softball Congress is pleased to announce the appointment of Lou Davis, of Truro, Nova Scotia, as ISC Deputy Umpire-in-Chief, effective immediately.

"Lou's knowledge, professionalism, and ability to control a game makes him a fantastic candidate for this newly created position," says ISC Executive Director Larry Fisher.

Lou has been umpiring for 26 years, including several years in the ISC World Tournament as well as serving as UiC of the 2009 ISC II Tournament of Champions. Lou is one of only a handful of umpires in the last 30 years to work home plate in the ISC championship game multiple times. He received his ISF Certification in 2003.

The ISC welcomes Lou to their team and he will be a great asset working alongside UiC Bruce Bierman and Les Novak.
