August 8, 2014

Kitchener, ON

Your Neighbourhood Credit Union ISC World Tournament Host Committee is pleased to announce that Nate Hall will be performing an acoustic set in the Opening Ceremonies on Sunday, August 10th at Peter Hallman Ball Yard at 5:00 pm. Nate has not only played with 2013 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Female Artist of the Year Kira Isabella, but he has also developed his own niche in the music scene as an up and coming solo artist with his own set of accolades.

We caught up with Nate to see what he had to say about being playing in his hometown as part of ISC World Tournament Opening Ceremonies. Click here to watch!

Nate Hall is a nineteen year-old pop artist and multi-instrumentalist from Waterloo. Nate’s latest single “Keep Moving On” earned him the title of Bell Media Emerging Artist for the month of August, 2011. The song quickly climbed the HOT AC charts receiving major radio play across Canada. Keep Moving On was the most added song to HOT AC radio stations in its first week of release and Hall was also on the Billboard Emerging Canadian Artist chart, which highlights the top 30 emerging artists based on digital sales and radio play on a weekly basis.

Not taking any of his recent success for granted, Nate is hard at work in the studio crafting songs for his upcoming E.P. which he plans to release in late fall. He describes his music as having “a strong beat, fierce melody and unforgettable lyrics that stick like glue”.
