                   Playoffs continued in the Quentin Seeley Remax fastball League on Thursday night in Garson .In the opener the strong bats of the Aquatech North Stars( 1-1-2) were backed as they smashed the Panthers(0-3-1) 13 to 5 . Eric Landriault (1-0) went the distance for the Stars in giving up 13 hits and striking out 3 batters while Brad Matheson(0-3) also going all the way gave up 17 hits and fanned one batter .Jesse St Cyr and Past Landriault led the winners going a perfect 3 for 3 with teammate Chad St Cyr hitting 3 for 4 while Brad Matheson hit 3 for 4 in a losing cause for the Panthers .
                           In the nightcap , Jonathan Contin (2-1) of the Panthers (2-1-1) reached a milestone in his early career striking out 13 to give him 40 in four games as they defeated the previously undefeated Garson Hounds (3-1-0) 7 to 3 ..Bruce McDonald led the Dog House at the dish with a 3 for 4 performance while Todd Parsons went 2 for 3 in a losing cause for the Hounds.
                           Playoff action from the first round resumes on Monday night in Azilda when the Panthers face the Dog House at 7 pm followed by the North Stars and the Hounds in the nightcap at 9 pm
                           Up coming next weekend of August the 29th to the 31st , the 28th Annual Lions World Senior Fastball Tournament in Azilda at the Rick McDonald Memorial Sports Complex .
